Doerman Children
Chad Doerman shot and killed his three young sons execution-style in the front yard of their Clermont County, Ohio home. He was sentenced to death.
On June 15, 2023, Chad Doerman, 32, called his three young sons—Chase (7), Hunter (4), and Clayton (3)—into the front yard of their home in Clermont County, Ohio. He then shot each of them execution-style with a rifle.
Doerman's wife attempted to flee with the youngest child but Doerman took the boy and shot him. She escaped with their infant daughter. A neighbor who witnessed part of the attack called 911.
When deputies arrived, Doerman was on the porch. He was arrested without incident. He reportedly told officers he planned the killings and specifically said 'I had to do it.' No clear motive has been established.
Doerman pleaded guilty to three counts of aggravated murder and was sentenced to death.
