Patricia Adkins
Honda worker Patricia Adkins vanished after reportedly planning a secret trip with a married coworker. Her car was found at the plant. She has never been found.
On June 29, 2001, twenty-nine-year-old Patricia Adkins finished her shift at the Honda of America manufacturing plant in Marysville, Ohio. She had told friends and family she was going on a secret romantic trip to Canada with a married coworker named Brian Flowers. She had given Flowers $90,000 in cash and supposedly planned to hide in the bed of his pickup truck to keep the trip secret from his wife.
Patricia never arrived at any known destination. Her car was found in the Honda plant parking lot, and her personal belongings and bank accounts went untouched. When questioned, Flowers denied having a romantic relationship with Patricia and denied they had planned any trip together.
Investigators found that Flowers had a history of borrowing money from Patricia and other women. Despite strong circumstantial evidence pointing to Flowers, including the large cash gift and Patricia's planned secret trip in his vehicle, no charges were ever filed due to insufficient physical evidence.
Patricia's daughter has continued to advocate for her mother's case. Despite being featured on Unsolved Mysteries and other programs, and periodic renewed investigation, Patricia Adkins has never been found.
