On November 7, 2001, ten-year-old Bianca Lebron was walking near her school in Bridgeport, Connecticut when she was seen getting into a white van. A classmate witnessed Bianca enter the vehicle, which then drove away. She never arrived home and has not been seen since.

The Bridgeport Police Department and FBI launched an immediate investigation. The white van was a primary focus, with authorities searching for the vehicle and its driver throughout the region. Investigators interviewed sex offenders and canvassed the area surrounding the school.

Bianca's case received significant attention from both local and national media.
