Evelyn Boswell
Fifteen-month-old Evelyn Boswell was reported missing in February 2020 but had actually been dead since December 2019. Her mother Megan Boswell was convicted of her murder.
Evelyn Mae Boswell, born in November 2018, was reported missing by her grandfather to the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office on February 18, 2020. Investigators quickly determined that no one had actually seen the child since December 2019.
Evelyn's mother, Megan Boswell, gave investigators multiple conflicting stories about the child's whereabouts, changing her account at least seven times.
On March 6, 2020, Evelyn's remains were found on property belonging to a family member in Sullivan County. She had been dead for approximately two months before being reported missing.
Megan Boswell was convicted of felony murder, aggravated child abuse, and other charges in 2023. She was sentenced to life plus 64 years in prison.
