Seventeen-year-old Bianca Devins was murdered by Brandon Clark, who then posted photos of her body on Instagram. The case highlighted issues of online violence and platform responsibility.

On July 14, 2019, seventeen-year-old Bianca Devins was murdered by twenty-one-year-old Brandon Clark after they attended a concert together in Queens, New York. Clark slit Bianca's throat in his car after they returned to the Utica area.

Clark then posted graphic photos of Bianca's body on Instagram and Discord before calling 911. When police arrived, Clark cut his own throat and stabbed himself in the neck but survived.

The photos spread rapidly across social media platforms despite efforts to remove them. Online communities where Clark had been active celebrated the killing, leading to widespread discussion about internet radicalization and misogyny.

Clark pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison. The case prompted new conversations about platform responsibility and the speed of content moderation.
