Four people were murdered at RJR Maintenance in Mandan, North Dakota. Chiropractor Chad Isaak, a tenant of the property management company, was convicted after his car was caught on surveillance.

On April 1, 2019, four people were found shot and stabbed at RJR Maintenance & Management in Mandan, North Dakota. The victims were property manager Robert Fakler (52), and employees Adam Fuehrer (42), Bill Cobb (50), and Lois Cobb (45).

Surveillance cameras in the area captured a distinctive pickup truck and SUV near the business at the time of the murders. The vehicles were traced to Chad Isaak, 44, a chiropractor from Washburn, North Dakota.

Isaak was a tenant of the property management company. He had disputes with management about property maintenance issues. Bloody clothing and a knife matching the crime were found in his home.

Isaak was convicted of four counts of murder in 2021 and sentenced to four consecutive life sentences without parole. His motive was never fully established beyond the landlord-tenant dispute.
