Suzanne Sevakis
Known for years as 'Sharon Marshall,' Suzanne Sevakis was kidnapped as a toddler and raised by her abductor Franklin Delano Floyd. She was likely murdered by Floyd, who was convicted in 2014.
Suzanne Marie Sevakis was kidnapped at age four by Franklin Delano Floyd, a convicted felon who had married her mother under an alias. Floyd took Suzanne in 1975 when her mother was incarcerated and raised her as his own daughter under various false names, including 'Sharon Marshall.'
Growing up, Suzanne/Sharon was an exceptional student and was even a high school valedictorian. Floyd forced her into a sham marriage and ultimately began sexually exploiting her. In 1989, she had a son, Michael, whose father was Floyd.
On September 12, 1990, Suzanne was found badly injured on the side of a highway in Oklahoma City after being struck by a hit-and-run driver. She died three days later. Many believe Floyd orchestrated her death, as she had been making plans to leave him. Her true identity was not discovered until 2014 through DNA testing.
Floyd kidnapped her son Michael from his foster family in 1994 and the boy has never been found. In 2002, Floyd confessed to killing another man but denied harming Suzanne or Michael. He was convicted of Suzanne's murder in 2014 and remains on death row in Florida.
