Four sisters aged 5 to 11 died in an arson fire at their home in Flora, Indiana. Their mother's ex-boyfriend was charged with murder in 2024.

In the early morning of November 21, 2016, a fire engulfed a home on East Columbia Street in Flora, Indiana. Four sisters—Keyana Davis (11), Keyara Phillips (9), Kerriele McDonald (7), and Kionnie Welch (5)—died in the blaze.

Fire investigators determined the fire was intentionally set. The girls' mother, Gaylin Rose, was not home at the time. The case became one of Indiana's most heartbreaking unsolved crimes.

For nearly eight years, the case went unsolved. In 2024, the girls' mother's ex-boyfriend was arrested and charged with four counts of murder and arson. Evidence presented to the grand jury has not been made public.
