Baby Holly (found alive)
Holly Marie Clouse was found alive at age 42 in Oklahoma after her parents were identified as murdered Jane and John Does from 1981. She had been handed to a church by two women in robes.
In January 1981, the remains of a young couple were found in a wooded area of Houston, Texas. They remained unidentified for over 40 years, known only as Jane and John Doe.
In 2021, genetic genealogy identified the couple as Harold Dean Clouse Jr. and Tina Gail Clouse of Florida. They had been murdered—their baby daughter Holly had been missing since their deaths.
Investigators discovered that Holly had been dropped off at a church in Arizona in 1980 by two women in white robes who appeared to be members of a nomadic religious group. Holly was adopted and raised by a loving family.
In June 2022, Holly Marie Clouse was found alive in Oklahoma at age 42. She had no knowledge of her birth parents or the circumstances of their deaths. The murder case remains unsolved.
