Boone told police they had been playing a drinking game of hide-and-seek. She claimed she zipped Jorge into a suitcase as a joke and fell asleep, forgetting he was inside.
However, videos on Boone's phone showed Torres calling out and begging to be released while Boone laughed and refused to let him out. She told him 'that's what you get.'
Boone went through 15 different attorneys before trial. She was convicted of second-degree murder in 2024.
