Nineteen-year-old Rachel Cooke vanished while jogging near her parents' home in Georgetown, Texas. Despite extensive investigation, she has never been found.

On the morning of January 10, 2002, nineteen-year-old Rachel Cooke, a University of Texas at San Antonio student home for winter break, went for her regular morning jog near her parents' home in the rural Westwood subdivision northwest of Georgetown, Texas. She was seen by at least one motorist running along FM 2338. She never returned home.

When Rachel failed to return from her run, her family launched a search. Her running shoes, wallet, and other belongings were still at the house. There were no signs she had returned from the jog. An extensive search of the area, including fields, ranches, and waterways, found no trace of her.

The investigation was led by the Williamson County Sheriff's Office with assistance from the FBI and the Texas Rangers. Numerous persons of interest were identified over the years, and the case generated significant media attention. In 2003, a grand jury was convened, but no indictments were issued.

Rachel's parents, Robert and Janet Cooke, have kept their daughter's case in the public eye for over two decades. A $100,000 reward has been offered for information. The FBI continues to list Rachel as a missing person. In 2022, the Williamson County Sheriff's Office announced they were reviewing the case with new forensic technologies.
