On August 13, 2002, twenty-two-year-old Jennifer Servo, a recent University of Georgia graduate who had just started her first job as a news anchor at KWAB-TV in Big Spring, Texas, was found strangled in her apartment.
Jennifer had moved to the small West Texas town just weeks earlier to start her broadcasting career. She was found by a coworker who went to check on her when she failed to appear for her shift.
The investigation examined several persons of interest, including people from Jennifer's personal life and local residents. Despite the efforts of Big Spring police, the Texas Rangers, and the FBI, no charges have been filed.
Jennifer's murder remains one of the most prominent unsolved cases in West Texas. Her family has maintained a campaign for justice.
