Jason Derek Brown
Jason Derek Brown is wanted by the FBI for the murder and robbery of an armored car guard outside a movie theater in Phoenix, Arizona. He is believed to have fled to international destinations.
On November 29, 2004, an armored car guard named Robert Keith Palomares was shot and killed outside an AMC movie theater in the Ahwatukee neighborhood of Phoenix, Arizona. The gunman grabbed a bag of cash and fled the scene on a bicycle.
The investigation identified Jason Derek Brown, a 34-year-old businessman and avid golfer, as the prime suspect. Brown was known for his flashy lifestyle, driving luxury cars and frequenting expensive restaurants, despite being deeply in debt.
Brown vanished before he could be arrested. He was placed on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list in 2007. Investigators believe he may have fled to countries in Central America or to France, where he had traveled frequently.
As of 2024, Brown remains one of the longest-tenured names on the FBI's Most Wanted list. The FBI has offered a reward of up to $200,000 for information leading to his capture.
