Heather Elvis
Twenty-year-old Heather Elvis vanished from Peachtree Landing near Myrtle Beach. Sidney and Tammy Moorer, a married couple Heather had been involved with, were convicted of kidnapping and murder.
On December 18, 2013, Heather Elvis, a 20-year-old waitress, disappeared from the Peachtree Landing boat ramp near Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Her car was found at the landing with the door open.
Heather had been having a relationship with Sidney Moorer, a married man. When his wife Tammy discovered the affair, she became enraged and threatening.
Phone records showed Sidney called Heather in the early morning hours of her disappearance, luring her to Peachtree Landing. GPS data placed the Moorers' truck at the landing.
Sidney Moorer was convicted of kidnapping and murder in separate trials. Tammy was convicted of kidnapping and conspiracy. Heather's body has never been found.
