Rachel & Lillian Entwistle
Neil Entwistle shot his wife Rachel and infant daughter Lillian before fleeing to England. He was extradited and convicted of double murder.
On January 20, 2006, Rachel Entwistle, 27, and her nine-month-old daughter Lillian Rose were found shot dead in the master bedroom of their rented home in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. Rachel had been shot in the head; Lillian in the torso.
Rachel's husband Neil Entwistle, a British national, had already fled to England. He flew out of Logan Airport the day after the murders. He claimed he found his wife and daughter dead and panicked.
Neil was extradited from England in February 2006. Evidence showed he had searched the internet for methods of killing and had been running fraudulent internet businesses while deeply in debt.
Neil Entwistle was convicted of two counts of first-degree murder in 2008 and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
