Myrna Opsahl was shot and killed during a bank robbery by members of the Symbionese Liberation Army in Carmichael, California. Patricia Hearst and several SLA members were later convicted of the robbery in 2003 for charges related to the crime. The triggerman Emily Harris was also convicted.
