Ricky Brown (Central Park Five)

The Central Park Jogger case involved the brutal rape and near-fatal beating of Trisha Meili in Central Park. Five teenagers — the Central Park Five — were wrongfully convicted and served years in prison. They were exonerated in 2002 when DNA evidence and a serial rapist's confession cleared them. The actual perpetrator, Matias Reyes, confessed but was not additionally charged.
